Cibeunying Kidul sub-district is included in the Cibeunying SWK. With an area of ​​5.25 km² and a population of 112,903 people (4.39 percent of the total population of Bandung City), this sub-district has a density of 20,455 people/km².

As of 2019, the population of Cibeunying Kidul District was recorded at 112,903 people, consisting of 56,209 women and 56,694 men.

As a residential area that relies on the trade sector, in Cibeunying Kidul sub-district there are 10 government-run banks, 4 private banks, and 3 cooperatives for Small Industries and People's Crafts, and 9 savings and loan cooperatives.

Cibeunying Kidul District is known as Saung Angklung Udjo, an outdoor theater with daily angklung performances, as well as educational programs and a handicraft center. And along Jalan PHH Mustapa is famous for the t-shirt trade or better known as the Holy Screening Center.
