Characteristics

Andir District has an area of ​​3.71 km2, which consists of 6 sub-districts, namely: Kebonjeruk, Ciroyom, Dunguscariang, Garuda, Maleber, Campaka.

It has close access to Husein Sastranegara International Airport, making it one of the strategic districts in the city of Bandung.

The population of Andir District as of 2021 will reach 99,493 people, consisting of 49,794 women and 49,699 men.

 

Main Sector

The three main sectors in Andir District include the trade and repair sector, the processing industry, as well as finance and insurance.

 

Development Plan

In Andir District, the development of a movement network is planned in the form of a passenger terminal called Ciroyom Terminal, reactivation of the Bandung-Tanjungsari railway line, and plans for airport development in the form of a runway and Flight Operations Safety Area (KKOP).

 

Regional Potential

Andir District has a Tolerance Village Tourism which is located at RW 08 Kebon Jeruk Village. This Tolerance Village has a diversity of population backgrounds, especially from the religion they profess. This is also evidenced by the presence of four houses of worship from each religion.
